Our sympathies to the Johnston and Scott families. Marie was such a nice friendly lady who we have known for several years. Always a smile on her face.
I remember Marie with a smile. She was a dear lady. She was a member of our church Seekers book study group. We were a close group and shared laughter and tears over many years. Happy memories. Thinking of her family at this difficult time.
So Sorry for your loss. She was one of a kind.

Marie was a good friend and a wonderful neighbour to my parents, Marg & Dick Nettleton. That is where I met her and she then became one of my many helpers at the Legion Seniors Dining program for almost 24 years. I have stayed in touch with her through the now take out dinners and always enjoyed visiting her and catching up on her latest news. She will be missed by a lot of people.
