Dear Jan & Steve
Sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom.
I remember when we were kids & spending many fun days at your home in Dungannon. Your Mom was always kind & welcoming, with a big smile & chatty. She would chew gum & make it snap & I learned how to do that too lol.
Our Mom’s would have phone chats to catch up on local news.
A great classy lady your Mom!
Deepest sympathy, Leola

Your mom was one of my teachers at Brookside in 1968. She was a lovely lady and a great teacher.
Dear Steve, Jan & Doug
My sincere condolences are extended you all with the loss of your mom. I have so many wonderful memories of both of your parents. May all your cherished memories stay in your hearts forever…
Joanne ❤️
Extending our sincere condolences to Steve, Jan & Doug. So many great memories of Aunt Gwen: the Blue Jays; a good drink (love the picture you've chosen!); and lots of chocolate. I (Virginia) was 12 when Gwen showed me how to make chocolate macaroons (haystacks) in her home with Jan & my sister Leola. I still use her recipe, and it's been shared with our daughters and several of Mallory's friends in Manitoba & Saskatchewan. Something good needs to be shared, and Aunt Gwen had a lot of love to share. Keeping you close in our hearts. Godspeed Aunt Gwen

Dear Jan, Doug and family
So sorry on the passing of Gwen she was a wonderful lady and I enjoyed our conversations.
She will be greatly missed.
Jan, Doug and Steve - Treasure your memories of your mom. I know I will always treasure my memories. She was my Grade One and Two teacher at SS#16 Ashfield (Crewe) many years ago. We were very small in number but we had lots of fun with “”Miss Stewart””. Joanne (Crozier) Bushell
