Wendy Ritchie, of Whitechurch and formerly of Lucknow, passed away at the Wingham & District Hospital on Thursday February 13, 2025 at the age of 61. She was born in Goderich on September 2, 1963, daughter of the late Robert Gordon Powell and Donna Haggitt. Greatly missed by her partner Andy Furness and children; Patrick Ritchie (Heather) of Auburn, Gloria Ritchie (Graeme) of Neustadt and Paula Ritchie (Ian) of Lucknow. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, siblings Bob Powell (Michelle) of Belfast, Vickie Hanna (Joe) of Auburn and Shelly Powell of Clinton and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Wayne, Jake and Terry Powell, in-laws Allan & Violet Ritchie and Rod Furness and sister-in-law Brenda (Jerry) Huizinga. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Wendy’s life will be held on Saturay March 1, 2025 at the Lucknow Legion from 1-4 PM. (Memories will be shared at 1 PM followed by a come and go reception until 4 PM.)

Wendy was an amazing person an amazing mother to her kids and an amazing grandma too I olny met her twice but she seemed very nice and always had something to talk about to keep convos going in this world I love u wendy r.i.p untill we meet again my friend
