It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Paul Nelson, of St. Helens and formerly of Brampton. Paul passed away peacefully on December 12, 2024 after a courageous battle with lung cancer at the age of 68.He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Brenda Nelson. Dear brother of Susan, Karen (Ken Shiels), and Laurie. Brother-in-law to Delma Rand, Leona Robichaud (Gary), Patsy Bennett, and Merlin Stanley (Diane). Also survived by step-children Wanda (Jim Blumbergs), Scott Skillen (Tracy), Craig Skillen, and Tracy (Scott Heard) as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by his parents Lily and Harold Nelson and his brother Steven.
Paul was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also loved his Harley Davidson motorcycles and all of the road trips and adventures that they led him on.
Paul will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, numerous friends, and the St. Helens Community. A celebration of his life will be held at a future date.
