Obituary

Harold Nelson Culbert
1932 - 2024
Harold Culbert formerly of Dungannon, passed away at Huronlea Home for the Aged, Brussels on October 22, 2024 at the age of 92. Survived by his youngest sister Doreen & Don McNeil of St. Thomas, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephew, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Blanche (Caldwell) and Nelson Culbert, and his sisters Bernice, Alma (Glenn) Huston, Pearl (Albert) Mason, and Joyce and brothers-in-law Ken Cantwell and Bob Tait.
Harold was a quiet man that enjoyed his own company, but also loved a chat and a visit. He was known for his wide happy smile. He loved nature and farming the land. He paid attention to the weather and the changes of the seasons. He loved dogs and had an innate ability to train them. When his health dictated a move to assisted living he handled it with quiet grace and acclimated well to life at Huronlea Home.
