So sorry to hear about Bob's passing. Have many great memories working with him working at Goderich Elevators. All the stories he would tell of things that had happened to him in the past brought lots of smiles and laughter, one especially of the time he was up in the upright silo and had forked so much silage down the chute that he could not get back out, Noma came out after awhile looking for him when he hadn't come in from doing the chores, he said a few choice words to her for not coming out sooner, so she went back into the house for an hour or so and left him up there. She eventually came back out and forked enough silage away so Bob could get out. He said he was as nice as pie to her after that.
To Bob's Family -- I'm so sorry for your loss. I have some fun memories of visiting Bud & Marj's farm when I was a little girl. May your own happy memories of Bob give you some comfort now. It was nice to see Deanna at my mom's (Winnie Farrish Walters) service in April. Wish we'd had more time to talk. God Bless you all, Joanne
Noma and Family. I have know Noma and Bob for many years and am blessed to know both of them. Bob's fisty nature lead to many great conversations. He will be missed but we are all a bit better to have known him.
our condolences to noma and family.
