Shocked and saddened to read this news. Reading the condolences can't help but make me think of my father, Earl Grover, of Highbury Avenue in London. As always, so sorry I never got to see more of you before this sad time. Thoughts are with you and old memories come flooding back.
Garry was such a wonderful man, always so kind and helpful. I always loved chatting with Garry about hockey and handyman stuff. He was your friend for life as soon as you met him and his work ethic was second to none. Deepest condolences to the entire family.
My deepest sympathies. Garry was a wonderful man , I am sorry for your loss and send love and prayers.

Garry will be remembered by our family as long as the waves lap the shores of Bruce Beach. He, with the help of Joel, restored our 100 year old cottage and made it sound for the next. We will miss his weekly visits, and every time we open and close without him- will reflect on what a great friend he is. Rest in well deserved peace Garry!

Dear Donna, Joel, Russell and families - We were saddened to hear of Garry’s death. He will be sorely missed by us and many others of the Bruce Beach Community. We will miss chatting alongside the back road as he would frequently stop to talk if he saw us walking there. Also, we had some conversations mid way through a lawn mowing when he would turn off the mower and ask about our family and was always interested. Garry knew how much I loved raspberries and strawberries and I was always excited when he would bring us locally, fresh picked fruit. When we arrived for the summer from the States he would always make sure our grass was mowed and our gutters cleaned which made the moving in less hectic. Over the years, Stevan appreciated what he learned from Garry who would freely advise him on building or maintenance projects that Stevan would undertake. In our hearts, Garry will always be remembered as a fine and generous man that we could call our friend. You all remain in our prayers as you lean on each other as you mourn your great loss. We pray for your comfort in your many special memories.
Donna and family. Sorry to hear about Gary. My thoughts are with you.

Donna,Russel ,Joel and family So sorry to hear of Garry,s passing.I got to know Garry well when he was running the store for Lucknow Farm Supply He was a great salesman going out of his way to help a customer out and jumping in a truck to pick up a load of feed for me when I could not keep up . Donnie
I am sad to hear that Gary has passed. For so many years he has been the 'go-to' guy at Bruce Beach for all sorts of maintenance, rebuilding and renewal needs and challenges of the cottagers. When he needed help for the bigger jobs, he had the contacts to obtain that additional support or equipment. Even in recent years, when he has reduced his workload, it was a pleasure to see him drive up in his truck with a smile, and stop for a chat. I will miss him, and I know his family and community also will strongly feel his absence.
Our Deepest Sympathy to Donna,Russell and Joel and families on the passing of Gary he was very kind man and always had time for a chat . Sending hugs to you all . RIP GARY !!! You will be missed . We will keep you all in our thoughts ,
Donna, Russ and Joel, please accept our sympathies on Garry’s passing. I first met him at the butcher shop. Will miss not seeing him out in front of the house when driving by. Always good to talk to.
Our deepest sympathies, Donna, Russell, Joel, and the Sutton and Forster Families, on Gary's passing. So sorry for your loss.

We truly missed seeing Garry at Bruce Beach. He was beyond generous with his time and always offered to help. Our condolences to Donna and the Sutton family.
Dear Donna and family
We were devastated to read of Garry’s passing and send you our deepest condolences. He was an incredible man whose motto was to always help others. We had to call him so many times for help for something at our Bruce Beach cottage and not once did he not come right away. He had such a generous heart and will be missed greatly. May your happy memories bring joy back into your hearts.

I was proud to call Garry my friend and will really miss him. It will seem strange not seeing him stop by the cottage to visit or bring strawberries, vegetables or baked goods - some even made by himself. He was a generous, kind man who did a lot of work for Jackie and I and we will never forget him. Rest in peace Garry.
