Maryann Forster, beloved wife of Bob Forster, of Lurgan Beach, passed away peacefully at the Walkerton Hospital on Tuesday January 23, 2024. She was born in Houston, Texas on May 3, 1949 to the late Dorothy (Moon) and James B. MacLean. Greatly missed by sons Allan Forster (Leia King) and John Forster, and grandchildren Madison, Luke, Joe and Lorelei. Also survived by special cousins Judy Moon, Patty Smart-Abbey and Rick Howarth (Cathy Heinrich). Predeceased by sister Lynda Jean MacLean. She will be missed greatly by all of her many relatives and friends.
Maryann enjoyed spending time boating on the Trent Severn Waterway, hosting neighbours and friends where she would whip up some fabulous meals (many times without notice) at home, and playing the piano, which she did very well. But above all else she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Following Maryann’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a come and go celebration of life will be held on Saturday April 20, 2024 from 1-4 PM at the Ripley Legion.

As I remember Maryann, I can't help but smile widely.
As my Mom's best friend since childhood, she seemed to always glow with genuine love whenever she got to see my brother and I... it couldn't be faked, and it never failed to feel amazing.
I'm going to miss knowing she's out there spreading that kindness and being the incredible wife, Mom, and Grandma that she surely was every day.
My sincere condolences.
