My condolences to Bell's family and friends. Like many others, I met Bell through my genealogy research. She helped me puzzle through a challenging branch of my family and was able to tell me some great stories. She was very helpful and kind. Every community needs a Bell! I'm confident she will be missed but that you have lots of great memories to cherish. Sincere sympathy.

Ian and families,
We are very sorry to read about your mom. Our thoughts are with you during this sad time.
I will miss Bell so very much. Such a sweet soul and the matriarch of genealogy. I found her and Chester in October of 2001 after researching family history since 1985. What a dream to find my Hackett family and especially to begin a beautiful relationship with all of the Hacketts thanks to Bell. My love and sympathy to Ian, Scott and Jamie; Greg and all of her family.
Jamie, Ian + Scott – We're so sorry to hear of Bell's passing. I know we all have such fond memories of fun on the farm. It's incredible to think that Mom and Bell remained such good friends/family during and after nursing school – and roommates again at the 50th anniversary of graduation! love to you all – The Carswell's – Rick, Rob, Ken, Susan – and Al in spirit.
