Hugh Thacker of Lucknow and formerly of Formosa and Teeswater passed away November 16, 2023 at Wingham & District Hospital. He was 87 years old. He was the beloved husband of the late Marion (Nee Priess). Dear Father of Joanne Voisin of Kitchener, and Doug & Judy Thacker of Port Elgin. Missed by 7 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Survived by sister Gwen Hood of London and brother Bob Thacker of Au Gres, Michigan. Predeceased by parents Kathleen & Alvin Thacker, daughter Barbara Johns, brother Richard Thacker, and an infant sister.Hugh dairy farmed on his families home farm near Formosa for more than 30 years. He served his community as a member of the Teeswater Lions Club and was an avid collector and admirer of antique cars and tractors.
