I just run across this obit. It sure brought back memories. Ross was my boss at Bell on Water St Kitchener. I was expecting our first of two babies at the time. He was such a nice man. They had collected from all departments and gave me a lovely send off. I had my son and after a bit of time wanted to come back to work but no hiring at the time. So I quickly took a job at Forwell Sand & Gravel. Spent 28 years there as Credit Mgr. Ross came to mind many times, I will always have fond memories of him and the rest of the guys.

Our family of many generations has so many wonderful memories of Ross & Janet and their families across the road at the cottage. Ross always had some tool or other to assist when needed. On a personal note, I enjoyed having Ross for dinners when Janet was on her trips down East and he stayed into the evening- unlike his usual routine of heading off to bed early. Our conversations were wonderful. The Cress family has been woven into the tapestry of our lives. We miss those days and cherish the memories. Deepest sympathy to all of you.

The congregation will sincerely miss speaking to Ross via Zoom on Sunday Morning. Your Dad and Mom were such a beautiful couple admired by all. My Sincere condolences in your Loss. I like to think of this as a celebration, that your Dad and Mom will now be togather forever. I can picture the smiles and caresses, all now in peace.
