Jennifer Irwin of RR 7 Lucknow passed away after a brief, unexpected illness on September 23, 2023 at Victoria Hospital, London. She was 43 years old. Beloved wife of Mathew Irwin for 22 years. She was the devoted mom of William, Shae Lynn, Wyatt and Kinley, all at home. Cherished daughter of Barry & Doreen Clark of Crawford and sister of Barry Jr. (Jess Ash). Survived by her mother-in-law Lilo Dotterer, brother-in-law William Irwin and sister-in-law Kristine Lerch.. Lovingly remembered by her nieces Paisley Clark, Macie & Madison Ash, and Peyton Clark.
Predeceased by her father-in-law William John Irwin, grandparents Ernie & Catherine Stahlmann and Harvey & Irene Clark.
Jennifer was an active and involved mom, wife and caregiver, both at home and in the community. She loved playing the flute with the Lucknow Classics band. Her love of music also took her to as many concerts as possible, including Music in the Fields. Jennifer cherished everything about being a wife and mother. Her talents were many, but her ability to love was the greatest. She kept the household and business running smoothly while still making time to spend with her family and make wonderful memories on their many adventures. No matter how busy, she never seemed to say no, if asked to lend a hand. She will be deeply missed.

Jenn’s family, I’m so sorry for your deep loss. I met Jenn about 12 years ago through a peer breastfeeding support group. Her love for her family is what I remember first about Jenn. I liked how she shared practical advice and honestly helped others through her own experiences. She had a contagious smile.

We were so heartbroken to hear of Jen’s sudden passing. We had only just started getting to know your family at the ball diamond this past summer. Jen and I talked a bit about concert adventures and who all we hoped we’d see someday. Even though I did not know her very well, it was evident how much she loved and supported her family. A life taken far too soon. We are thinking of you all during this very difficult time and are incredibly sorry to hear of your loss.

We would like to express our heartfelt condolences to the family of Jen. As public health nurses at the Huron County Health Unit, Jen volunteered her precious time to many healthy children programs as a mentor and advisor. She was instrumental in the Breastfeeding buddies and MILKS program conveying her great joy of parenting to new mothers. We got to meet William on several occasions at meetings Jen always exemplified her joy for her family. She will be greatly missed by all.

So incredibly shocked to hear this tragic news!!!!
I met Jennifer at St Joe’s Hospital in June 2003 in the NICU. William and my son Gordie were “neighbours” in the NICU. Jen and William had been there since April and we soon became close during this very stressful time. Jen was so kind to me and although she was much younger than me, she took me under her wing and was so supportive and strong! I admired her SO much!!! I’m so incredibly sad and my heart aches for her family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Jen was always an inspiration to me. The way she took care of William and still have time and love for other children was truly amazing. Jen was always there when I would message her looking for advice, even in the middle of the night. I first met Jen when we were both bridesmaids in Rob & Yvonne’s wedding. We got along then but really connected when we both had our boys. My fondest memory would be Easter Seals moms camp! She reached out to see if I was going as she wouldn’t know anyone there. She was a welcome addition to our room and fit right in. My deepest condolences to all of the family. Jen was a beautiful person and will be missed by many!
Matt and family my sincere condolences on the devastating loss of an amazing wife and mother. My heart goes out to all of the family. Cherish the memories ❤️❤️
To Doreen, Barry & family: I am so very sorry for your loss. I know how much Jennifer was loved by you and how she took such great care of her family. My thoughts are with you at this most difficult time.

Some things in life don't make sense and Jen's passing is right up there. She was a person who would take on anything with a smile and she was admired for handling everything that life threw her way with a determined smile and "nothing can stop me" attitude. Your family will live on and carry out your dreams and make you very proud Jen. You will be missed more than you know.

Our deepest sympathies to Matt, William, Shae Lynn, Wyatt, Kinley, and to the many family and friends who loved Jenn.
When I met Jenn the first time as a fellow caregiver…I knew I was meeting a rare gem. Over the years I was always truly inspired by her. She was real about the rollercoaster of caregiving and advocating; and still balancing everyday to show her fierce love for all of her family. She showed us how to find solutions - because concerts, games, camping, holidays and so much more were Not going to be missed! She always found time to support us fellow caregivers too - I’ll especially miss our middle of the night hospital admission texts.
She will be missed so much.
Unfortunately, we won’t be able to attend this week..but please feel our love as you navigate this heart wrenching journey.
