Grant Rumble of Lucknow passed away at Wingham Hospital on August 22, 2023 at the age of 69. He was the beloved husband of Linda (nee Swanson). Missed by his children Tanya Beckner and partner Mike Miller of Chepstow, and son Jeffrey and partner Margaret Parks of Lucknow. Proud grandpa of 6 grandkids: Joshua (Amber), Jordan (Chantelle), Kailey (Kurtis), Austin, Madelyn, and Alana, and 5 great grandchildren: Autumn, Brooklyn, Jayce, Olivia and Nixon. Survived by his brothers Wayne and Brian and sister Robbin, and by his brothers-in-law Rick & Koreen, Ken & Candy, and sister-in-law Susan & Garry, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Lois and Charles Rumble and his brother Richard, and sisters Brenda and Dianne.
Grant loved to fish, camp and watch stock car racing. Recently he helped get his son Jeff's car in racing order. He worked for Wescast Industries for 33 1/2 years. When he retired from there he worked with Fred, Ken, and Andy Phillips helping them farm. What he loved to do most was taking his grandkids for their annual camping trip to their trailer on Rondeau Bay.

My heart is sad for Grant's family as I know just how much he will be missed. Grant was such a good man, a great husband, a helping father and silly grandfather. He always kept everyone on their toes with his silly demeanor and there was always a great time when he was around. I am blessed to have known him and to have been close to his beautiful family, some of whom are my nieces and nephews. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Please share these memories with each other as I am sure there will be lots of laughs found.
Much love,
Tammy Beckner

I hope you went as peaceful as you always were!!!! I mean most of us nieces and nephew were scared of him because of how big and tall of a man my uncle Grant was, lol once you got to know him you knew how happy and peaceful he always was no matter what. You'll always be remembered for all the things you always tried to do to help anybody you could. I wish we got to spend more time together because all those years of family fighting cause nothing but regrets of all those missed memories that we only think if only we could've been there, we could've grown together. As now you're in heaven with all those people who have been waiting for you to come home. I love you and will always remember you.
