I was very sorry to hear of Janet’s passing. I grew up in the Amberley area and knew Janet as a friend and fellow student at SS#9 Huron. I know she will be missed her. friends and family. May she rest in peace.

I have known Janet ever since 1961when I started working at what is now called Amberley store. Janet frequented the store often to buy groceries or cash cheques. She was one of my favourites, always kind, friendly and patient with a very bouncy laugh. Her hearty laugh distinguished her from all others. Over time, I moved away, but we still maintained contact until I last hugged her in Trillium Court after my Uncle Eywn’s passing. My condolences to her entire family, she will be dearly missed. Amberley, Point Clark and Huron-Kinloss Township has lost another institution.
