We were so sorry to hear about the passing of your Mother. We send our deepest condolences to her the family. There will be so many fond memories that you will cherish forever. And your Mom did enjoy a good game of cards at the community center.
I have known Janet ever since 1961when I started working at what is now called Amberley store. Janet frequented the store often to buy groceries or cash cheques. She was one of my favourites, always kind, friendly and patient with a very bouncy laugh. Her hearty laugh distinguished her from all others. Over time, I moved away, but we still maintained contact until I last hugged her in Trillium Court after my Uncle Eywn’s passing. My condolences to her entire family, she will be dearly missed. Amberley, Point Clark and Huron-Kinloss Township has lost another institution.

To the Kempton family,
Sending sincere condolences on Janet's passing. Another old neighbour has left us. I have memories of babysitting for her and Bill when I was a teenager. I also remember her, Joyce, and Marion Lowry singing beautifully together, including at my Grandpa McMullen's funeral. Treasure the happy memories.
