With a quick reply she said, " I have my good speaking voice thanks to my eight daughters. I had to be able to speak over their voices to get their attention."

Sending heartfelt sadness to Joyce's family on her passing. All the weddings and new babies made her so happy. She often commented that Stewart said there should always be a baby on your knee.

Joyce loved when everyone came to the beach in the summer and all the family gatherings.  She always had pictures to share at our cousin reunion and how everyone enjoyed those times.  That beautiful smile and enthusiasm will be missed, but we must celebrate a full and wonderful life .Hugs

I have many fond memories of visiting the Farrell family on their farm on the 10th concession. I was always welcomed by Stewart & Joyce. It seemed the more the merrier for them. I have so many great memories of visiting at the farm and then boiler beach as well.  As a 4H member I enjoyed her patience in helping me learn how to sew, and that took a lot!! I was welcomed even though it was a busy household and always enjoyed her baking.

I have fond memories of your Mom from the early years at Clark's United Church where your family would fill a pew with beautiful girls.  Your Dad, in his quiet manner seemed to never be frazzled by all of the activity.  Somewhere in my memory I can picture your Mom and Dad square dancing with Irene and Francis Boyle, Jack and Janet Farrell and other. Your Mom's warm and caring smile set the tone for any visit ar R Villa. She was definitely the matriach of yiour famiy and her loving influence will live on in your children and grandchildren.  Hold onto all of your memories.  May they bring joy to your hearts. To all of Joyce's family - our sincere condolences - what a remarkable lady.  We first met Joyce & Stewart through square dancing.  Loved our get togethers.  Since 2010 when we moved to Snobelen Trail we would have lots of visits while walking by.  I would look in every time to see if she was in sight.  Also I would pick up her paper from the end of the driveway and set it up on her steps!  You thought it was the paper fairy...  We will miss her!  RIP Joyce
