I am one of Bill's cousins from out west. Spent many summers at the farm with Billy and Bobby. Never a dull moment with them at either the farm, shop, or feed mill. Billy always had a smile and could make you laugh at any time. I will miss you Billy, you touched so many lives.
My condolences to all of Bill`s family. I chatted with Bill many times at Helm Welding. If we hadn`t had our laugh for the day ...we did soon as Bill walked through the door. He was full of fun and lots of teasing for everyone. May he rest in peace.

Val, Jamie, Matt, Shirley, George, Mary & Bob & families - I send our heartfelt condolences from my family, Jesse, Ryan, Chrissy & families, to each of you. Bill was a ray of sunshine to anyone that knew him. I remember the parties and snowmobiling trips we shared and how he tried to convince a woman behind the desk at the hotel, that he was my son...lol. The "Bervie Boys" that have passed, in particular my late husband Pat (aka Pugsly Wugsly as Bill called him) would be there to greet him as his soul moved on. What I know for sure is, life moves on and the best way to get thru it is to take one hour or one day at a time, surrounding yourselves with family and dear friends. We send our love your way, to each of you.
Dear Val, Jamie, Matt and families, our very deepest condolences on the passing of your beloved husband, father, sibling and friend. Bill will be missed by many, many people! We are so sorry for your loss. Bill was a kind considerate neighbour who was always ready to lend a hand if he could. Day by day as he would be leaving for work he always had a wave and a cheery hello. He will be greatly missed....
“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”” Matthew 11:28-30 NLT

When we lose someone we love, it seems that time stands still. What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say goodbye, but little by little we begin to remember not just that you died, but you lived. Bill ❤️ We wish you farewell in your journey to eternity. "Mac Brown" and "Tuffy" will be there to greet you. You'd never be forgotten, rest in peace my friend. Our most heartfelt condolences to Val, Jamie, Matt and families. Big hugs ❤️❤️ Cathy & Garry
