Mary "Myrtle" Gagnon (McQuillin-Culbert)

The family of Mary “Myrtle” Gagnon (McQuillin-Culbert) announce the passing of our Dear Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother on Saturday June 15, 2013 at The Westmount, Kitchener in her 98th year. She was born on November 1, 1915, youngest daughter of Richard & Rachel McQuillin of St. Helen’s. Lovingly remembered by her daughter Gloria Neufeld (Culbert) of Kitchener, and her son Donald (Elly) Culbert of Windsor. Predeceased by her loving husband and best friend Wilfrid C. Gagnon in 2006 and her daughter Pat Breutigam in 1986. Loving Grandmother of Tanya (John) Eckert of Ayr, Peter Neufeld of Kitchener, Michael (Lori) Breutigam of Windsor, Bev (Rich) Werkmiester of Welland, and Colleen (Kelly) Rintjema of Grimsby. Great Grandmother of Holly, Rachel & Nicholas Eckert, Jocelyn, Dalton & Kyle Breutigam, Jennifer & Christopher Rintjema. Also missed by several nieces, nephews, in-laws, the Gagnon families and her many friends. Predeceased by sister Emma and brothers Roy, Dick, Elvin and Herb McQuillin. Myrtle was born in St. Helen’s and later moved to Windsor and Oakville. Always ready with a smile or joke, she will be missed by many. May the winds of love blow softly And whisper so you will hear. We will always love and miss you And wish that you were here.
