Gladys "Alene" Clark (Lattimer)

Happy in the Lord, and surrounded by her family’s love, Mrs. Alene Clark passed away at Wingham District Hospital on Saturday March 9th, 2013. She was the beloved wife of Herb Clark of Lucknow, where they resided for the past 42 years. They were both born and raised in Oxford County, married 63 years ago and raised 6 children. Alene is survived by her husband Herb of Lucknow, Cathie MacGregor (Peter) of Woodstock, Thomas Clark (Diane) of Sweaburg, Susan Mills (Allan) of Calgary, Alberta. James Clark and friend Micki of Effingham Illinois, Kevin Clark (Peggy) of Lucknow, and Rev’d. Col. Douglas Clark of the Diocese of Athabasca. She will be missed by 11 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by Mabel Lattimer (Don) of Oklahoma, Jackie Lattimer (Ralph) of Woodstock, James Lattimer (Grace) of Cornwall, Patsy Cofell (Boyce) of Thamesville, Bonnie DesRoches (Raymond) of Bluevale, Marylou Jones (James) of Woodstock, Loxcy Norris (Bill) Woodstock, Cathie Lattimer (Larry) of Woodstock, Doris Spelmar (Steve), and Mary Clark (Ross), both of Woodstock. She is predeceased by parents Alvin and Gladys(Goodall) Lattimer, 4 brothers Don, Wayne, Ralph, and Larry, one brother Robert in infancy, and one sister Jeanette in infancy, and one sister Margie and her husband Bill Wharram, and 3 brother-in-laws, Don Boyce, Garnett Cofell, and James Jones. Funeral services for Alene Clark will be in care of MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow where visitation will be on Monday March 11th from 2-4 PM and 6:30- 8 PM with Evening Vesper Service to follow. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday March 12th at Old St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Woodstock Ontario with the Rev’d. Karine Farmer presiding. Visitation at 1 PM prior to service at 2 PM. Burial at the Anglican Cemetery in Woodstock.
