Dear Lloyd and family,

I am shocked and saddened to learn about the passing of Karen after Christmas. She was a wonderful community member, and I worked with her and Lloyd over the years doing Horticultural beautification. They spent many onsung hours keeping flower beds in our town in good shape, and were quick to offer plants and advice to anyone who was interested. She always had a wonderful dish at our potlucks, and it was served with grace and humour. Our sincere condolences on the loss of a wonderful and classy lady.. she will be missed by many.

Our deepest sympathy to you all during this difficult time. Karen was a wonderful woman and a very true friend. I enjoyed all our visits and her willingness to always help at all church functions.  She was so kind and compassionate when my husband was sick.

I will always cherish and remember all the special moments with your mother.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all .

Lloyd & Family:

So sorry to hear of your loss...may your memories of Pat and her friendly and helpful nature help you during this time.  I remember when she would send goodies along to the office at Montgomery's.  She will be missed.

Karen was a wonderful friend. We had many happy hours working on the flower beds in Lucknow where I met her and Lloyd. I also spent many wonderful hours visiting their beautiful garden and of course Brandy at their home. The last time I saw her December 15 she was baking- amazing! So self reliant. My deepest sympathy to Lloyd, Kim and Kevin and their families.

My deepest sympathy, Lloyd and family on the loss of a dear wife and mother. Our UCW meetings won't be the same without her, especially the amusing stories of her farm animals, her humourous readings. and her tasty snacks.. She was a good friend and will be greatly missed for her contributions to our community. May fond memories comfort you during this difficult time. Deanna

We will miss our neighbour, Karen, and wish to express our condolances to Lloyd and their family.  Karen had a terrific work ethic and spent endless hours in her yard as well as on behalf of the Lucknow UCW.  True to her nature, she put up a brave fight till the end.

Dear Lloyd and family: no truer words could be spoken of Karen: "The chorus in heaven sang as they welcomed a beautiful angel...". My deepest sympathy to Lloyd and family and Karen's dear friend Brenda. I was delighted to have Karen as one of the co-leaders of our local SMART exercise program. She was a delight and we enjoyed many laughs together over the years. Such a kind, gracious lady.

Pat
