I was saddened to hear of Bob's passing.  My sincere condolences to Shirley and family.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to you. Bob was always a joy to work with at the Bruce Nuclear Power Development and he always had a smile to greet everyone in the morning.  Cherrish the memories.

Bob was first rate. I worked with Bob at The Kincardine Scottish Festival. He made an extraordinary effort managing the Scottish Clans area.

Dear Shirley, Kerri and Zack,

We are so sorry to hear about Bob’s passing.  I always had such fond memories of him growing up in Kincardine, especially all the family dinners we had together.  He was always so kind, generous and had a great sense of humour.  I’m glad Jennifer and the boys got to meet him a few years ago.  We will be thinking of you and wish you peace at this difficult time.

George & Evelyn Turner - 2020-04-13 18:50:09

Bob Ferguson is one of the finest human beings that Evelyn and I have ever had the privilege to know. The very embodiment of the Christian spirit. His beautiful smile and his warm friendliness always cheered us up and made us feel good about life. The Turner family will never forget how Bob and his family so kindly shared their home with us and showed us exceptional hospitality when we first came to Canada, when I was called as Minister to Knox Presbyterian Church in Kincardine over 40 years ago. Bob, you will remain in our hearts and be remembered with great love and affection for many long years to come. Rest in peace, dear friend. ❤️

Corinne and Bill Brown - 2020-04-13 18:30:35

Dear Shirley and family, We were so saddened to hear of Bob's passing. It must be especially hard for you during these strange times of isolation. We miss you both as neighbours and we always enjoyed Bob's wonderful smile and cheerful greeting, and miss our chats in the yard. I still think of him whenever the pine cones are all over! He did such a great job serving with the Scottish Festival, welcoming the bands on his lawn and looking magnificent in his kilt. He will be sorely missed. Hugs from Corinne and Bill

Ginny Ferguson - 2020-04-13 13:51:24

My deepest sympathies are sent to you, Aunt Shirley, Kerri and Zach at this sad time. I had to smile at the memory of the Kincardine summer bagpipe parade and our family visits from Sarnia and how excited I was to 'march' in a parade. That was the highlight of my summer that I shared when we went back to school! Along with oh so many more fabulous memories visiting when we all lived in Sarnia! Love you all! And wish we could get up there to see you all!

Ginny Ferguson, #3 daughter of Bob's brother, Jim. They are now reunited after 50 years!

Shirley; I didn't know Bob till I met him at Knox Presbyterian Church just a few years ago; what a gentleman who welcomed me every Sunday morning with the best ever smile!

I'm so very sorry for your loss. In these uncertain days I can't be there to offer a hug, but know that I'm with you, virtually, in your grief.

Be gentle with you.

Hugs and much love, pat

Bob was always professional and pleasant to deal with at work. He often provided some entertaining facts on our many trips on the Bruce a construction bus. RIP

Shirley & Ferg - "Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory." - Dr. Seuss.  Like so many of Ferg's firiends, I benefitted from knowing Bob & Shrl and there are many 'moments' that are and will continue to be great memories.  To a great man -  whose laughter & postive personality was contagious.  My sincere condolences to Shirl & Ferg.
