Sherry & Family:

So sorry for your loss.  May your memories help you through this difficult time.  Al always had a moment to chat and it was a pleasure to have known him.

Dear Sherri, my deepest sympathy.  I’m sure the last few months have been very difficult but it is good that Uncle Al was able to be with you and your family.  Uncle Al was a wonderful man.  I know many people and of course you will feel his loss tremendously.  I planned to be there in person but all my travel plans were cancelled today due to the weather.  Darn blizzard!  Did you know Uncle Al and Aunt Barb taught me to play euchre? Uncle Al gave me all the tips and strategies and of course the advice not to rush the game (and really not to rush anything!)  This was during one of our family visits in Waterdown.  I have so many nice memories of visits with Uncle Al, Aunt Barb, Heather, and you over the years.  Later on at the cottage at Point Clark too.  In recent years, Uncle Al and I would talk on the phone.  I would get an update on how the Maple Leafs were doing or how Bingo was going.  He’d always end our call with “be good” and I would always laugh and promise to be!  I’ll miss him very much.  Lots of strength to you at this time.  Love Nancy

May fond memories of Alvin bring you comfort during this hard time in your life. Look back on all the good memories you were able to have and smile at the fact that you were able to share these before he passed away. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family.

We were so sorry to hear first of Al's sickness and then of his passing. Sherri...please know that we are thinking of you and your family during this time and in the days ahead. We all know what a gift you and your family were to him and how comforted he would have been to be with you there. Steve & Joan
