Jeff Hodges - 2019-08-11 11:33:48

Tim and family:  I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your grandfather Bert.

I have such fond memories of our high school days and the adventures that took us  to the Moss farm.  Your grandparents were always so welcoming, no matter what time of the night... LOL .  They were truly wonderful people, one of a kind. Cherish the good memories.  Take care.

Jim, Janet, Tim and Penny....sorry to hear about the passing of Bert.    He will always be remembered as “the guy who fenced with the Lincoln Towncar”.  Thinking of you all.

Jim and Tim, I am sorry that you have lost Burt. I feel grateful that he was a part of my life when I grew up on the farm just down the road from Burt's. He always wore a smile, greeted us pleasantly, helped us out and was especially good to our Mom, driving her into Goderich for appointments and groceries. I loved hearing Burt's fiddle music when he got together with our Uncle Joe. He was a good neighbour and friend.

We have many fond and fun memories of Bert. No one could entertain us like he could. Kitchen parties to no end.  ☺  We will miss his wisdom and humour.

Sincerest sympathies,

Annette & Brian

Bert Moss was one of a kind. He was a mentor to some, a inspiration to many and a friend to all. Wayne always said that Bert was his best friend.

Our thoughts are with Jim and Jan and Tim and Penny.

Sincere sympathy to Bert’s family as you say farewell to a great guy.

Reading of his passing brought many very old memories of the parties at Joe Forans when Bert and his fiddle entertained and his sense of humour.

That was over 40 years ago !

I hope someone can play that violin to keep the legacy  and memories of a great couple alive.
