Louise (Dozois) Muckle - 2022-07-21 20:52:53

I was saddened to hear of Sybil's passing. We worked together in London for several years. My memories of her are af a kind and caring woman. She treated everyone with dignity and respect. We spent a lot of time talking about her father who was quite ill. She had a great love for her family. Her days off were spent travelling to be with her family.

My heartfelt condolences to her family. May your happy memories bring you comfort .

My heart goes out to Jessica and Skye on losing their mother and grandmother. To Dixon, Phyllis and Jocelyn a special heartfelt condolence. Having lived most of my life at the other end of the province it is difficult to think of Sybil in any other way than as a young happy outgoing person that I remember from 50 years ago. Definitely a part of my memories of Point Clark beach. Andy Bowers

My deepest condolences to Jessica, Rob and Skye (and family) for this difficult loss. I had the pleasure to work with Sybil for a number of years at AMGH and spent many break time walks with her where she would tell me stories of her childhood or of the town and history. She always had a great sense of humour and I always loved her amazing treats she would bring in - and she was always willing to give me a recipe! I will hold on to many good memories with her.

I remember Sybil very well. Worked with her at Victoria Hospital for years. She loved her family and spoke often of them. And of course she was fondest of her own daughter! a loving, kind girl. I think of her everytime I drive past her apartment in London.

Dear, dear Sybil. We only worked together for about 5 yrs but we clicked. I have very fond memories of you. I remember your older black horse. I can't remember his name! We took the English riding lessons near Komoka and as soon as the instructor said that our next lesson would be outside, I quit. I think we looked pretty good in our riding gear. Also, you bought Jebelle. She was so pretty. It was lovely meeting your Mom and Dad and the rest of your family. They were so very kind and welcoming. And the fun we had on your beach, shaving our legs and posing for photos in our bikinis! And of course when Gary and Dave were playing at the Station Park Inn, we had to go. We weren't going to stay long, because we had to drive back to London. Well, we left Kincardine at 0100, stopped at your Mom's in Goderich, ended up spending the night and I called in  "sick". We were so in love with those guys! We took rowing lessons together and loved our tall, handsome instructor. I remember your Mom, Jessica arranging for you and I to meet each other. I was passing through Goderich and stopped and had coffee with the two of you at the picnic table outside of the hospital. It was lovely to meet Sybil's little girl. She loved you so much. Sybill was such a good friend and I am so sorry for your loss. I will never forget her.

Love Mary Anne Morrison

To Jessica and frmaily,

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Sybil. I worked with her a number of years ago  at Victoria Hospital.   We worked many shifts together. She was hardworking and dedicated to her profession.    I remember  her  hair  and makeup were  always perfect with a fantastic smile. She was fun loving and caring to her patients.  Two years ago our unit  was planning  a reunion to get all the old staff together, then Covid  arrived and it has been on hold since. Sybil was planning to attend. It would have been great to see her.  We all have fond memories of her!

I am so sorry to hear about Sybil! I worked most of my shifts with her...she was my work sister! We always found fun at work and I have many wonderful memories of her. I was always jealous of the suppers she would bring and she always supplied me with her baking! We had a lot of laughs together. I will remember her with a smile and are sending what she called my "Presbyterian prayers " to you all.
